Overview
Canadore College opened the doors to its community campus in Parry Sound in 2004, offering adult upgrading, preparatory and continuing education programming.
Canadore is pleased to be the recipient of federal and provincial funding totalling $6.2 million through the Knowledge Infrastructure Program and Ontario’s 2009 Budget. These funds will allow Canadore to significantly improve access to quality education by offering programming that is responsive and relevant to employers’ needs. Programming will continue to focus on adult upgrading, preparatory, and continuing education, and will expand to include core postsecondary and apprenticeship programming in the skilled trades, health and human services as well as hospitality and retail sectors.
The new West Parry Sound Community Campus will open its doors in Summer 2011.
