Student budgets should include tuition and ancillary fees, housing, food and entertainment, books and supplies, as well as travel and transportation considerations. Our highly-qualified staff can give you the tools you require to make a realistic budget for your academic year.

Scholarships and Bursaries

Scholarships and Bursaries are awarded on the basis of financial need and or satisfactory academic progress. To qualify, eligible students must complete a detailed application form.

i) The Discretionary Bursary fund application form can be accessed in the Student Financial Aid Centre and submitted at any time throughout the academic year. This one-time bursary is available to students in need of emergency funding.

ii) The Scholarships are awarded on the basis of a combination of academic excellence, attendance, and overall contribution to the classroom. Recipients are chosen by program coordinators following the completion of the first, third, and fifth semester. All students are eligible for consideration and in most cases no application is necessary.

iii) The Emergency Loan fund provides short-term financial assistance to full-time students who are waiting for Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) loan documents to arrive at the institution. Each situation is considered on its own merit. Please note that if your loan documents are at the institution or you have already picked-up your OSAP loan, you are not eligible to apply for this loan. To apply, access the application form.
