Start a lucrative and challenging career as a mechanical technician or millwright. Enrol in the Mechanical Technician - Industrial Maintenance program and receive theoretical and hands-on training in equipment installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair, with a strong emphasis in fluid power.

  • Programmable logic controllers

Graduates of this program may receive, at the discretion of their employer, advanced standing in their apprenticeships based on their on-the-job performance.

Compressed Program!
This two-year diploma program is compressed into 45 weeks.
 
Admission Requirements


Ontario Secondary School Diploma at or above the general level or its equivalent. Grade 12 English or equivalent is required. Recommended courses: senior level mathematics and senior level physics or equivalents.

Mature Students:
Applicants aged 19 or older without an OSSD will be considered on the basis of the results of the College’s Mature Student Test. Students must posses the prerequisites even if they are applying as mature students; however, college, university, or upgrading equivalencies may be used.

Graduates of the new Ontario Secondary School Curriculum:
Ontario Secondary School Diploma with courses from the College (C), University (U), University/College (M), or Open (O) preparation levels.

Grade 12 Compulsory English (ENG 4C or ENG 4U).
