Practical Nursing Students Promote Healthy Living
All members of the media are invited to Canadore College for a unique exhibition of healthy lifestyle promotion by first year Practical Nursing students.
The students will be presenting health fair displays on Monday, April 7, 2008 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m..
Some of the topics include:
• Healthy eating on a college budget
• Health benefits of yoga
• Alcohol use
• Obesity
• Sun Safety
• What is a healthy blood pressure
• Water, weights and walking
• Safe sex
• Healthy pregnancy
