Canadore College will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for their new Parry Sound Community Campus.
Funding for this project is being provided by the Government of Canada's Knowledge Infrastructure Program and through the Ontario Government's 2009 Budget.

Among the officials attending will be the Honourable Tony Clement, Minister of Industry and Member of Parliament for Parry Sound-Muskoka; Richard Adams, Mayor of the Town of Parry Sound; David Conn, Mayor of Seguin Township; Chief William Diabo, Magnetawan First Nation; Wayne McQuabbie, Chief of Henvey Inlet First Nation; Chief Dan Pawis, Shawanaga First Nation; and Barbara Taylor, President of Canadore College.
