Canadore is opening the doors to its new English as a Second Language lab on November 30.

The lab is a network-based, interactive, multi-media learning facility that is unique to Northern Ontario.

The ESL program began in 1981 and currently serves a mix of domestic and international students at our College Drive campus. The two-semester, intensive immersion program has served students from over 16 countries.

“The new lab extends the possibility for online delivery of ESL programming off-campus to students locally, nationally and also internationally,” said Mary Lou Rainville, Dean of Access, General Studies, and Human Services.

The opening takes place on November 30 at 11:00 a.m. in the ESL lab, room D301a. All media are welcome to attend.
