Marriott hotels sold on Canadore
The Marriott hotel chain is once again looking for 15 to 25 Canadore College hospitality students to fill summer internship positions throughout the chain beginning May 1.
For the 15th year in a row, executives from Marriott have travelled to North Bay to conduct interviews with potential candidates from what they say is the best hospitality program in Canada.
"We are looking for students to insert themselves into the business," stated David Green, assistant general manager of the Griffin Gate Marriott Resort and Spa in Lexington, Ky., in a news release. "We are looking for future leaders for Marriott."
The team of Kentucky executives interviewed 42 Canadore students last week, many of whom will make up the bulk of Marriott interns this summer.
