Ken Dryden to visit North Bay today
Ken Dryden, chairman of the Liberal Caucus of Social Development, will be in North Bay today as part of his cross-Canada tour in a national call to fight poverty.
MP Anthony Rota will host a town hall meeting with Dryden at St. Joseph's Motherhouse in the morning, allowing interested participants and organizations to share their concerns and suggestions.
North Bay is one of Dryden's 15 stops - the only one in Northern Ontario.
While in the city, Dryden will also visit Canadore College to attend a pond hockey event.
His schedule includes a wine and cheese reception from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Best Western North Bay.
Tickets are available by calling John Wilson at 223-9547 or Dan Cleroux at 679-5600.
