Mark Cullen Part of Canadore’s Speaker Series
Get tips and trends from gardening expert Mark Cullen during Canadore College’s Summer Speaker Series, part of Artsperience 2007.
On Wednesday, June 13 at 6:30 p.m. at the College Drive campus, Mark will enlighten our audience with his gardening expertise. Mark will also be signing copies of his new book Sandbox of a Different Kind: A Personal Reflection on the Canadian Gardening Experience.
Mark Cullen is Canada's own garden expert, he is the host of HGTV’s Mark Cullen Gardening, is the President of Mark's Choice Ltd., and is spokesperson for Home Hardware Canada.
Mark is a best selling author and one of Canada's most prolific garden writers, with over 400,000 books in print in Canada. His book The Greener Thumb was on the best sellers list for 27 weeks and remains the best-selling hard cover gardening book in Canada with over 140,000 in print.
The Speaker Series will run during June and July 2007. Future speakers include award-winning photographer David Lewis, author and teacher Barbara Kyle, and painter Dwayne Harty.
