Congratulations Canadore Graduates!
Canadore College is holding its Convocation Ceremonies for the School of Aviation and the School of Skilled Trades on May 15.
Guest speaker Colonol M.P. Galvin of 22 Wing/Canadian Forces Base North Bay and the Canadian Air Defence Sector will be speaking to over 130 graduates.
Colonel Galvin enrolled in the Canadian Forces in 1980 and has been in a number of roles during his long career. In a flying role aboard the NATO E-3A Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS), Colonel Galvin participated in Operation ALLIED FORCE, Kosovo and as Commanding Officer of the Canadian Component, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma he was responsible for Canadian Forces members flying with US AWACS crews in contingency and combat operations over Afghanistan and Iraq.
Canadore is very proud of all the graduates for their accomplishments and for achieving their education goals. Each year, over 1,000 Students graduate from Canadore College. They join more than 30,000 Canadore alumni.
The Convocation Ceremony is being held at the Aviation Campus (55 Aviation Avenue) on May 15 at 3 p.m. The remaining Convocation Ceremonies will take place on:
