Author Barbara Kyle Part of Canadore’s Speaker Series
Barbara Kyle will share her expertise and knowledge as a published author during Canadore College’s Summer Speaker Series.
On Thursday, July 12 at 6:30 p.m. in the Canadore Room, Barbara will speak about writing suspenseful fiction while focusing on essential elements of her craft. Whether you are a budding author or a fan of the thriller writing genre, this is a presentation not to be missed.
Barbara Kyle’s novel Beyond Recall was a Literary Guild Selection and over 110,000 copies have been sold throughout North America. Her latest novel, The Experiment, is praised by Publishers Weekly as a “haunting thriller”. Barbara also teaches creative writing courses for the University of Toronto and for the Haliburton School of the Arts. Before writing full-time, she enjoyed a 20-year acting career in television, film and theatre.
Future speaker Dwayne Harty will be at Canadore showcasing The Masters of Wildlife Art on Tuesday, July 17.
