Canadore College has an exciting new addition to the Theatre Arts program.
Booth Savage, a well-known Canadian film and television actor started teaching Theatre Arts students in January. He is teaching Acting for the Camera to final-year students.
Savage’s career spans more than 30 years and includes countless film, television and stage credits including his role as Harry Sinden in the CBC mini-series Canada Russia ’72, Narc acting opposite Ray Liotta, Thanks of a Grateful Nation acting alongside Ted Danson, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Brian Dennehy, and the starring role in the TV series Hot Shots.
“The opportunity for our students to work alongside a Canadian actor with the experience and skill that Booth brings is a tremendous advantage. We are committed to exposing our students to some of the best actors, directors and behind-the-scenes personnel in Canada,” said David Himmelman, Dean of Communication Arts.
