Next week, 16 high school students from across the province will be competing for free tuition by testing their culinary skills at Canadore College’s 3rd Annual Next Top Chef competition.
This exciting culinary competition is open to all senior high school students who are looking to jump start their culinary career. Teams are coming to Canadore from the North Bay area as well as Huntsville, Innisfil, and Parry Sound.
Eight teams of two will prepare a three-course meal, and will be judged on sanitation, planning, work ethic, accuracy of the recipes, presentation and taste.
First prize winners will receive first semester tuition to a two or three year culinary program of their choice at Canadore. The competition is on March 8 at 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. in room D113 and the Canadore Room.
