Visits the Education Centre
The Honourable Mary Anne Chambers, Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities for the Province of Ontario, visited the Education Centre in North Bay on Tuesday, July 6, 2004. It was the Minister's first opportunity to explore the Education Centre campus, which is shared by Canadore College and Nipissing University.
Minister Chambers, joined by Nipissing MPP Monique Smith, met with Canadore President Barbara Taylor and Board Chair Cindy Boston, Nipissing President Dennis Mock and Board Chair Steve Carmichael, along with student leaders, to learn more about the two postsecondary institutions and their unique relationship.
