Employers meeting students at Education Centre
North Bay, ON, February 23, 2010 — Career-minded students will be mixing with businesses at the annual job fair at the Education Centre on Wednesday, February 24.
Nipissing University and Canadore College take pride in providing value-added support to their students. One of the key services both institutions offer to students is assistance in establishing a career. The job fair, takes place from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. in the Education Centre Gymnasium.
Employers will be on hand representing seven key areas of industry: business, government, health care, hospitality, finance, social services and education.
The job fair offers businesses a timely and cost-efficient method to provide career information and fill positions. For job seekers, it represents an opportunity to market their skills to local, regional and national employers, as well as to find out more about the present demand for employees within each sector. For would-be entrepreneurs, organizations that lend support to their efforts will also be in attendance.
