Canadore College Welcomes New Employees
New employees at Canadore College will have the opportunity to get familiar with the college and its services at the New Employee Orientation on August 20.
This year there are 41 employees participating in the orientation, 11 of whom have relocated to North Bay from various locations.
Participants will be given an overview of the College and the college system by senior administrators. Topics include Canadore’s Strategic Plan, Fundraising, the Aboriginal Learning Unit, Human Resources, and Health and Safety. The orientation begins at 8 a.m. and will end with a wine and cheese reception at 3 p.m. in the Canadore Room.
Pancake Breakfast
Canadore President Barbara Taylor and the four Deans of the College are cooking up a breakfast feast on August 28 in the Commerce Court Cafeteria for the Annual President’s Pancake Breakfast.
Pancakes and sausages will be served to college employees from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
