Canadore To Recognize Skilled Trades Partners
 
The Canadore College Centre for Skilled Trades will host a Corporate Partner Appreciation Event on Monday, May 17, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. The event will take place at Canadore's Commerce Court Campus, 60 Commerce Court, Room W130 (Motive Power Shop).
 
North Bay Mayor Victor Fedeli and Nipissing First Nation Chief Phil Goulais will join Canadore College representatives at this event to recognize the contribution of Canadore?s industry partners, through partnerships and donations, to its skilled trades programs.

Canadore's Centre for Skilled Trades offers 8 full-time postsecondary programs, in addition to 9 apprenticeship programs.

A skilled labour force is essential to the economic development and prosperity of the North Bay and Northeastern Ontario region. Canadore is committed to working with industry and community partners to increase awareness, improve perception, and provide a qualified workforce. As well, Canadore is dedicated to providing opportunities for Northern and rural youth to enter the skilled trades.
