Canadore Adult Learning Open House
In these uncertain economic times it is a good idea to have a plan. On Wednesday, Canadore College is hosting an Adult Learning Open House, where the unemployed or underemployed can explore adult learning options.
The goal of the open house is to help individuals find a program that will lead to sustainable, long-term employment in a growing sector of the economy and discuss financial assistance that is available to them. The Ontario Government initiative Second Career will be discussed, which can assist individuals in obtaining training and education in fields like accounting, electrical and plumbing.
The Open House will be at the College Drive Campus in the Weaver Auditorium on December 2 at 6:30 p.m.
Attendees can win one of four $500 entrance awards for early confirmation.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
