15th Annual Cultural Gathering “Celebrating Diversity”
Canadore College is pleased to support the 15th Annual Cultural Gathering, to be held Saturday, February 19, 2005 in the Education Centre Gymnasium.
The Cultural Gathering provides an opportunity for the community to participate in a social and cultural event to help strengthen relationships. The event is an initiative of the Cultural Activities Committee as part of the Canadore Aboriginal Student Association.
This year's theme is "Celebrating Diversity". It acknowledges the importance of sharing and learning as a way of creating harmony among all nations. The general community, along with special guests, drums groups and dancers, has been invited to participate in the event. Cultural activities, which preserve traditional beliefs and values, will be celebrated on Saturday. The cultural gathering provides an excellent opportunity to learn and grow through a cultural exchange.
