AccessAbility Services

Canadore College's AccessAbility Services staff work hard to assist students with special needs and to raise awareness about their concerns and requirements. We recognize that students may require changes to the physical environment, assistive devices, or learning strategies in order to be successful in their post secondary studies. We provide the services necessary to help make students feel comfortable and confident as they embark on their college education. Our counsellors and support staff are available to discuss the personal, physical and learning demands of specific programs, to provide a thorough needs assessment and to help with program accommodations. Our counsellors also provide, personal, academic, and career counselling.

Students are encouraged to contact the AccessAbility Services Office (ext. 5205) once they have confirmed their admission to Canadore College. Students should set up an appointment with one of the counsellors to discuss individual needs.
