When a student arrives at the office and identifies him/herself as a special needs student, an appointment can be booked with a counsellor. Students are asked to bring in past documentation such as IEP’s (Individual Education Plans), IPRC’s (Identification, Placement and Review Committee), as well as any relevant assessments.

Assessment of the information gathered is part of the screening process to determine if the student may be a potential candidate for the Learning Disabilities Enhanced Services Program (LD ESP).
