Although the course for which you are registered may be hosted by another OntarioLearn college, you must abide by the academic policies as stated by Canadore College.

The registraion deadline is one week from the course start date. If the registration deadline has passed, you will be registered in the next available start date.

The refund deadline is two weeks from the course start date. Fees are neither transferable nor refundable after this deadline.

If you choose to withdraw from a course before the refund deadline, tuition fees less a $15 administrative fee will be refunded. A withdrawal grade (WD) will be registered on your student academic record and this course will not figure into your overall grade point average (GPA).

If at anytime within the first 50% of your course you choose not to complete the course, please notify the OntarioLearn Coordinator by email at ontariolearn@canadorec.on.ca. You will then receive a formal withdrawal (WD) on your transcript. If more than 50% of the course is completed an incomplete grade (R) will be assigned.

If you simply stop participating in a course an "R" grade will automatically be assigned to your transcript at the completion of the course.

If course registrations are insufficient the course will be cancelled. You will be notified by the Registrar's Office and a full refund will be issued. Cancellation decisions are made two days prior to the scheduled start date.

Grades will take approximately six weeks to be processed after the course end date.

In an effort to be more environmentally friendly, Canadore College has stopped sending out paper copies for grades.

You can now view your grades online at www.canadorec.on.ca. Click on the Canadore Self Service login tab located on the right hand side of the screen. Your user ID is your student number (found on the top of your welcome letter). Your password is your date of birth in the format ddmmyy (two digits each, no spaces).

Please refer to the student manual located beside the login button if you have any difficulties. Technical difficulties should be directed to the help desk at 474-7600 extension 5800.

Please note that not all courses offered through OntarioLearn will be accepted as equivalent to Canadore College courses. If you are unsure as to the status of a particular course please direct your inquiry to the OntarioLearn Coordinator at ontariolearn@canadorec.on.ca. Your request will be forwarded to the respective academic area at Canadore College.
