Week 1 - June 28 to July 2
Introduction to Wire Jewellery
CEA257-30612
Wire jewellery is an accessible way to discover the medium of jewellery with minimal studio investment. Throughout the week participants will use a variety of pliers, tubing and hammers to create beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces out of sterling silver and craft wire. Link formation, binding, bead and stone wrapping are only a few of the techniques that will be learned to create rings, pendants, earrings and bracelets. Taught through demonstration, participants will be able to take the skills learned to set up their own home wire jewellery studio. Tools will be provided with the option to purchase tool kits.
