Orientation Weekend

The long weekend in September is always the best weekend for Residence. It is the major move-in weekend for the students. For the students that have already moved in, this means they will finally have neighbours and roommates. For the students just arriving, it is the beginning for a new time in their lives. This first weekend is where new friendships will begin, and old friendships will be strengthened.

The Canadore Orientation weekend is always a lot of fun. The Residence Assistants plan a variety of great activities designed as a way for students to get to know each other.

Saturday and Sunday mornings the Residence Office opens at 10:00 am to greet arrivals and hand out move-in packages, keys and information regarding residence living. A free BBQ is held for students and their families. There will be Frosh Leaders, RAs and upper year students around all day to help with move in. Come prepared to get involved!
