Facility Specifications
Size: 120’ X 90’
This spacious gym offers two full playing surfaces which accommodate a full-sized basketball court, 6 badminton courts, 2 half-court volleyball courts, 6 basketball nets and 2 half court basketball courts. Gymnasium Schedule/Hours
The gym is open 7 days a week to service educational classes, Nipissing and Canadore activities, community events and facility rentals throughout the entire academic year. If you would like to see the schedule, it is available every Friday for the following week and can be picked up from Canadore Athletics – C250 as well as from the gym office. Hours of operation are usually 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Booking the Gymnasium
If you are interested in using the gym to schedule a personalized activity with your class, you must check with the Athletics office for available time slots. Free time on the schedule is limited and all requests must be submitted at least one week in advance. When entering the gym, all users must have proper footwear. Gymnasium Rental Contracts

The purchase of all Canadore’s sporting equipment is made possible with the students’ athletic fees. All equipment is available for you to sign out, free of charge. You may do so by presenting your student ID card to the gym technician on duty. All overnight bookings must be approved by the Athletic Staff. Change rooms/Lockers
Men’s and women’s change rooms are located near the gym and provide athletes with locker accessibility. Lockers are for day use only; any locks left on overnight will be removed. Evening and weekend community groups also access the facility. COLLEGE DRIVE If you are interested in working out, our fitness room is equipped with rowing machines, aerobic steps, a Stairmaster, treadmills and weight lifting equipment. Grass fields on campus accommodate activities such as touch football, rugby, ultimate-Frisbee, slo-pitch, lacrosse, and Snofest events. Hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This fitness room is equipped with 3 bikes, 3 step machines, 2 rowing machines, a treadmill, free weights, universal machines, a leg press machine and bicep/triceps curl machine. Feel free to bring your favourite music tape and we can play it while you work-out. If interested, please see the gym technician for sign-up procedures. AVIATION CAMPUS Students may also take advantage of free gym time, a fitness room, cross-country ski trails and walking trails during their leisure time. COLLEGE DRIVE COMMERCE COURT AVIATION CAMPUS Equipment at this facility include a treadmill, a bike, a flat bench press, a lap pull down machine, a leg extension machine and an arm curl machine. Hours of operation can be found posted at the fitness room.
