Panther Volleyball in the Nation's Capital
This past weekend the Panther Men's Volleyball Team travelled to the nation's capital for the La Cité Invitational.
The Panthers opened up their tournament with two straight wins over S.S. Fleming (2-1) and the host la Cité (3-0). In their third match the boys ran into a tough team in Boreal losing 2-1.
Having finished first overall after the round-robin, the Panthers would face S.S. Fleming in the semi-finals and despite a lapse inthe second set, would once again prove to be to strong winning 2-1.
With revenge on their mind, the boys would get another shot at Boreal in the final. Unfortunately, the Panthers ran out of steam losing 3-1. Panther third year middle Peter Clifford was named Tounament All-Star.
