SUSPENSIONS
Any suspensions for verbal abuse, hockey fines, drinking, use of ineligible players or any act deemed inappropriate by Canadore campus recreation will result in a fine, and suspension. Once the fine has been paid and the suspension served the player may return to league play. If a player attempts to return to play before the suspension is served his/her team will forfeit the game and the suspension will double.

TEAM USE OF AN INELIGIBLE PLAYER
A team shall forfeit any contest(s) in which it uses an ineligible player or suspended player. A team may be dropped from the sport season and from all intramural sports participation. A team using ineligible/suspended individual during the playoffs shall be eliminated from further participation in the playoffs and risk further sanctions.

CHEATING
Any player found cheating would be suspended from the intramural sports program for that year. Teams found having an individual who has cheated while participating for that team shall be subject to the same sanctions as listed for “team use of ineligible player”.

Some examples of cheating:
- Participation under an assumed name
- Fraudulent use of ID
- Misrepresentation of scores

PROTESTS/APPEALS
All protests must be made in writing and handed into the Campus Recreation coordinator. The protest will be reviewed by league convener, coordinator and the Athletic Director. An interview may be needed to hear the protest side of the story. A decision will be made with personal and written follow up within 24 hours. Anyone protesting a suspension will remain suspended until the decision has been reached.

Consumption of alcohol by coaches, active players, bench players and spectators is prohibited. If a player is found to be under the influence of alcohol we will reserve the right to ask the player in question to leave the contest or event. That player will be assessed 3 game suspensions and fine. If the player in question does not comply, that team will be assessed a game forfeit and the contest will not continue.
